Carlos del Junco releases new CD, Steady Movin'The long anticipated follow-up to Carlos del Junco's acclaimed 2005 album, Blues Mongrel has just been released on Northern Blues Music. "Well worth the wait... even more of a demonstration of his prowess on the humble harmonica," says John Valentyn of the Toronto Blues Society about the new recording, Steady Movin'. Melanie Doane returns with new CD and signs with LTAThe Juno-winning, gold-album selling, multi-instrumentalist, Melanie Doane is back with a new recording that is already making an impact with the national media. The newly released CD, A Thousand Nights hit the streets last month to great reviews. Its focus track, "Songbird," featuring a duet with Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo, is destined for crossover hit status with pop and country radio and video. Amanda Rheaume signs with LTA, and triumphs in Live FM's Big Money Shot talent showdownOttawa rocker Amanda Rheaume has recently signed with LiveTourArtists for exclusive representation. This week also caps a big win for Amanda in Ottawa NewCap broadcaster Live 88.5's massive contest, Big Money Shot. Her success as Round One winner garnered her $40,000 and places her in the running for the quarter-million dollar finals which will be happening on December 12 at Ottawa's Capital City Music Hall. Steve Poltz returns to LTA with the release of new CD, TravelingLiveTourArtists is pleased to announce exclusive Canadian representation for singer/songwriter, Steve Poltz. The Maritimes born, Califoirnia resident catapulted into recognition in the '90s as former guitarist with Jewel and co-author of her massive hit, "You Were Meant For Me". His solo albums and live concert reputation have slowly built up a dedicated following of fans internationally. Steve returns to Canada on June 11 to perform the National Anthem at The Blue Jays game at the Rogers Centre, and will also appear at the Stan Rogers Folk Festival in July in Nova Scotia.
